Job Summary
Under limited supervision, the Youth Worker of the Youth Activity Centers will be responsible for the operation of the centers, including supervision of activities and youth.
Responsibilities
- Provide management of daily operation and ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
- Participate in program planning.
- Promote and advocate for YAC programs within the community.
- Support daily activities which build the Developmental Assets and resiliency factors.
- Assist in restocking inventory and supplies as needed.
Skills
- Ability to supervise youth participants.
- Ability to plan and coordinate multiple activities, and to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills.
-Ability to work with youth and to identify behavioral problems that require professional intervention.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Our after-school program runs Monday-Friday from 2:30pm-6:00pm.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 18 per week
