Position Summary:
Under general supervision of the Department Director or Designee, enforces municipal regulations, including those found in zoning, planning, business license, public nuisance, fire, building codes and ordinances; identifies, processes, and resolves complaints and violations. Maintains confidentiality of privileged information.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Two years’ experience in code enforcement, property management or assessment, or other related experience.
- Must possess or have ability to obtain within first sixty days of employment and must maintain a valid New Mexico Class D driver’s license.
- Must obtain within three years of employment and maintain certification as an International Code Council enforcement official.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Planning, or related field.
- Experience reading blueprints and specifications.
