Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Alamos, NM, for a Senior Engineer position. The Senior Engineer will oversee and manage engineering projects, develop technical solutions, and ensure compliance with standards and safety regulations. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, preparing engineering reports and documentation, reviewing designs, and providing technical guidance. The position involves collaboration with stakeholders to deliver innovative and effective solutions tailored to the county's growth and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in engineering design, project management, and technical problem-solving
- Proficiency in engineering software tools and applications relevant to civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering
- In-depth knowledge of safety standards, compliance regulations, and quality assurance practices
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for reporting, documentation, and stakeholder interaction
