Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field with 12-15 years of overall experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Duck Creek solution development across Author, Manuscript, Forms, Rating, and Policy modules.
- Proven expertise in Duck Creek Policy, Billing, and Claims implementations within Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, preferably Commercial Lines.
- Experience leading Duck Creek transformation, modernization, or migration initiatives in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Duck Creek architecture, configuration, integrations, workflows, and deployment processes.
- Hands-on experience debugging complex Duck Creek issues involving APIs, integrations, data flows, logs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Experience with environment setup, installation, configuration, and support across multiple Duck Creek environments.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC best practices including code reviews, design reviews, defect management, and release governance.
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, production deployments, smoke testing, and post-production stabilization activities.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, automated deployments, and configuration migration processes.
- Experience working with cloud-based Duck Creek implementations is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and testing tools such as Playwright is a plus.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, microservices, and scalable application architectures.
- Experience collaborating with Business, QA/UAT, Architecture, Infrastructure, and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, and technical leadership skills.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise modernization and digital transformation programs is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and develop scalable Duck Creek solutions across Author, Manuscript, Forms, Rating, and Policy modules.
- Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture alignment activities across Duck Creek development teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and support teams on Duck Creek best practices and enterprise standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving Duck Creek configurations, integrations, APIs, workflows, logs, and performance optimization.
- Support installation, configuration, maintenance, and administration of Duck Creek applications and environments.
- Coordinate environment readiness, deployment execution, release activities, and configuration migrations across development, QA, and production environments.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to deliver scalable insurance technology solutions.
- Validate technical specifications and ensure traceability throughout the SDLC lifecycle.
- Develop and review testing scope, SIT/UAT support plans, defect triage processes, and deployment validation activities.
- Contribute to CI/CD automation initiatives, DevOps process improvements, and deployment optimization strategies.
- Execute smoke testing, release validation, and post-deployment verification activities to ensure production stability.
- Monitor application health, environment performance, and proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and remediation strategies.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) efforts and implement corrective and preventive actions for recurring issues.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including environment topology diagrams, deployment runbooks, support procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Support onboarding, production rollouts, cutovers, and major environment transformation initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise engineering standards, security policies, quality controls, and release management processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, deployment reliability, automation, and technical excellence.
- Promote Agile/Scrum best practices, knowledge-sharing sessions, and continuous learning across delivery teams.
