QA Lead (Selenium, Cucumber, QA Automation)

Our client is looking for QA Lead (Selenium, Cucumber, QA Automation) for a long term project and below is the detailed requirement.  

Role: QA Lead (Selenium, Cucumber, QA Automation)

Locations: NYC, NY (Hybrid - Locals or only within EST time zone)

Employment Type: Contract

Experience: 12-14 Years

Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 12-14 years overall IT experience
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver automation
• Hands-on experience with Java and automation frameworks (TestNG/JUnit)
• Experience with Cucumber/BDD framework
• Good understanding of XPath, CSS Selectors, and web element handling
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• API testing experience using Postman or Rest Assured
• Knowledge of JIRA/TestRail or similar test management tools
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Key Responsibilities:

Automation Testing & Framework Development

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using Java, TestNG/JUnit, and Page Object Model (POM)

CI/CD & Cloud Testing

• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Support cloud-based test execution using Selenium Grid or BrowserStack

API & Integrated Testing

• Perform API testing using Postman and Rest Assured
• Validate end-to-end workflows and integrated application functionality

Agile & Quality Engineering

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams for defect tracking and resolution
