Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer
Location: Omaha, Nebraska (onsite)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong experience in JavaServer Faces (JSF) to design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java-based frameworks, UI component development, and backend integration, along with a passion for building scalable and performant systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java, JSF, and related technologies
- Build reusable UI components using JSF (PrimeFaces/RichFaces/ADF Faces preferred)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8 or above)
- Hands-on experience with JavaServer Faces (JSF) framework
- Experience with UI component libraries such as PrimeFaces, RichFaces, or ICEfaces
- Good understanding of MVC architecture
- Experience with Spring / Spring Boot framework
- Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA for ORM
- Strong experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity with RESTful web services
- Experience with application servers like Tomcat, WildFly, or WebLogic
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL)
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Microservices architecture
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Exposure to frontend frameworks (Angular/React) is a plus
- Understanding of security standards (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
