Job Summary:
- Support the development of data engineering solutions on Azure with foundational skills in SQL and cloud platforms. Ideal for candidates ready to grow into a specialist role.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in building data pipelines using Azure services.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for analytics.
- Support CI/CD processes and cloud infrastructure tasks.
- Contribute to data governance and compliance efforts.
Required Experience:
- 2 3 years in data engineering or analytics using SQL.
- Exposure to Agile and DevOps practices.
Required Skills:
- Basic experience with Azure Data Factory or Azure Databricks.
- SQL, Python.
- PySpark
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub).
- Data Warehousing Concepts
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to Spark and Azure Data Lake.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- Awareness of data governance tools (e.g., Informatica Axon, BigID).
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
