Maintenance Mechanic
1st shift 7am-3pm Mon-Fri
Lornamead Products is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team!
Headquartered in Tonawanda, NY, Lornamead Products manufactures and supplies hair care, skin care, oral care, and bath products in America. The company offers toothpastes, teeth whitening products and oral analgesics for drug chains, and national food retailers.
Your Challenge:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
- Maintain and repair toothpaste manufacturing machinery such as tube fillers, mixers, cappers, labelers, and cartoners.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
- Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
- Document maintenance activities in accordance with cGMP and FDA standards.
- Support calibration, validation, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure equipment is running in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support manufacturing goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma or associate degree preferred.
- 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food, pharma, or cosmetic industry preferred).
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with PLCs, automated machinery, and packaging equipment a plus.
- Familiarity with GMP, FDA regulations, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work cohesively with all other coworkers

- Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to stand, walk, sit extended periods. Lift up to fifty pounds, grip, twist, bend, kneel, stoop, regularly throughout the shift.
Salary : $26 - $31
