Salary Range: $100,0000 - $115,000 / annually
(Equivalent to $50.00 - $55.00 per hour, based on experience)

Lorien Mount Airy is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator (Registered Nurse) to join our award-winning skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. Compensation

  • Annual Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 / annually

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and complete MDS assessments in accordance with federal and state regulations
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of RAI process documentation
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary care plan meetings
  • Oversee Medicare PPS and Medicaid reimbursement processes
  • Monitor clinical documentation to support reimbursement and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social services, and medical providers to ensure quality resident outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with CMS guidelines and long-term care regulations

Qualifications

  • Current Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
  • RAC-CT Certification, preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of MDS Coordinator, Clinical Reimbursement, or RN Care Coordinator experience
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Medicare PPS
  • Medicaid CMI
  • Care Area Assessments (CAA)
  • RAI Process
  • Skilled Nursing Facility documentation requirements
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred
