Key Responsibilities
- Complete initial, 45‑day, and significant change resident assessments
- Develop and maintain individualized service plans per state assisted living regulations
- Ensure compliance with medication administration and Medication Technician qualifications
- Conduct weekly wound rounds
- Maintain compliance with OHCQ regulations related to nursing services
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing to support regulatory compliance
- Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians, families, and care team
- Meet regularly with rehab providers, caregivers, and medical practitioners
- Counsel residents and families on healthcare and psychosocial needs
- Promote resident safety and adhere to OSHA, fire, safety, and disaster preparedness standards
- Provide exceptional customer service in a caring, respectful environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Maryland RN license
- Current, unencumbered Maryland Delegating Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of Delegating Nurse experience in assisted living
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Compassionate, resident‑centered approach to care
