Group Home Caregiver

Job Responsibilities

• Must be able to lift and transfer up to 80 pounds safely.
• Must be comfortable assisting with personal hygiene and toileting (including use of bedpans and urinals).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist with ambulation for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable working in a home environment and assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and cleaning.
• Must be able to plan meals, including grocery shopping, feeding, and clean-up.
• Ability to accompany clients to appointments, outings, and transport safely as needed.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Strong communication skills for reporting changes in client's condition and documenting services provided.
• Must demonstrate patience, compassion, and the ability to foster positive relationships with clients and housemates.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour
