Job Description

Loren Cook Company is looking for a talented individual as a Tool and Die Maker. Duties include maintaining and fabricating tooling, jigs, and fixtures. Technician will work with facility maintenance and manufacturing engineering on new tooling designs and repairs. NC Programming/CAD drawing experience is a plus. Familiarity with the operation of lathe, milling, grinding, drill press, and other machine tools is preferred

Responsibilities

• Grind and sharpen production tooling within allowable tolerance
• Diagnose and repair tooling and stamping dies
• Assist in design and development of new stamping and forming dies
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience working in sheet metal environment is preferred
• Any CNC machinist or Tool and Die Maker experience is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret drawings / blueprints
• Ability to use precision instruments and equipment i.e. micrometer , caliper
• High school diploma / GED is required
• NC Programming CAD Drawing experience is a plus
