Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every
- Food plating and presentation to enhance visual appeal and customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support with food prep tasks such as chopping, measuring ingredients, and portioning to streamline kitchen operation
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supply needs
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service environment, particularly in a restaurant or fine dining setting, is highly preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques are essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures is required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
