Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Elizabeth, NJ. The CDL B Truck Driver will be responsible for the collection, transportation, and safe handling of used oil and petroleum-contaminated waste from various locations. Daily tasks include operating heavy-duty trucks, adhering to safety and compliance regulations, maintaining transportation records, and providing excellent customer service. The driver will also be responsible for routine vehicle inspections and adherence to company and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid CDL Class B driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proficiency in operating heavy-duty trucks and driving safely under various road conditions
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and environmental compliance standards
- Strong attention to detail for maintaining logs and complying with safety procedures
- Good communication and customer service skills for interacting with clients professionally
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including loading and unloading materials
- Experience in waste management or petroleum services is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
