Role and Responsibilities
Technical Sales Position. Responsible for identifying and educating prospective customers, supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to our products, working closely with the Engineering, Sales Administration and Production departments and thoroughly reviewing customer orders and contracts.
· Identify and establish contact with potential customers to expand the depth of their territory.
· Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
· Contact inactive customers to reestablish a business relationship.
· Analyze customer orders and confirm availability of parts and turnaround times by working closely with the
Engineering, Sales Administration and Production departments
· Thoroughly review customer contracts to protect LIC’s best interest and ability to comply with customer
requirements.
· Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales.
· Recommend marketing strategies to target specific regions or demographics.
· Generate and submit sales reports to upper management.
· Work closely with other departments to provide competitive and accurate order quotes.
· Periodic travel to meet with current and potential customers.
· Identify and attend trade shows.
· Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
· Comply with all company policies.
· Maintain a hostile free work environment.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Associate degree or higher (preferred) in Business or Engineering
2 years previous outside sales experience.
Legally able to work in the United States
Pass a criminal background check.
Ability to travel when necessary
Have a valid driver’s license.
