What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at LORAIN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE?
Job Summary
Knowledge and experience in general building maintenance is preferred in some or all of the following areas: Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding, fabrication, flooring, locks/security, landscaping/grounds care, light custodial, etc.
Position involves shift work/weekends.
Qualifications
Applicants must be at least 19 years of age, have obtained a high school diploma or GED and must be able to pass an extensive background check.
A skilled trade certification is NOT required but may draw higher pay.
The starting wage for Maintenance Worker $23.10 per hour. Benefits include but are not limited to: Paid holidays, paid vacation, personal days, bonus days, sick time, health care benefits, participation in the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System and longevity pay.
