Description
Responsible for providing excellent and safe instruction, motivation, and support to the program participants in group exercise classes.
Independent Contractor
$15.00-$30.00/Hourly
Essential Functions:
- Leads fitness and/or related classes.
- Communicates and enforces HealthPlex policies and procedures as they relate to group fitness.
- Make sure participants are performing exercises safely.
- Responsible for assisting in set-up and clean-up of fitness programs.
- Trains participants in a manner that is both demonstrative and professional.
- Takes attendance of class each time class is held.
- Fill out the timecard accordingly.
- Finds subs for sickness or vacations and is willing to help sub for others.
- Develops positive relationships with members and provides motivational support and guidance.
- Communicates needs, issues and concerns to Facility Coordinator.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required. 18 years of age or older.
- Certifications which are helpful include Personal Training and Group Exercise Instructor.
Salary : $15 - $30
