Work Days / Work Hours / Days per Year: Monday - Friday; 6.75 hours/day; 189 days per year (# of workdays for new-hires are pro-rated to date-of-hire)
Union / Classification: OAPSE 120 / Educational Paraprofessionals
Reports to: Building Administrator(s) and/or Executive Director for the Office of Exceptional Children or designee
Starting Hourly Rate: $18.75 per hour (2026/27 school year)
Qualifications (REQUIRED): Must possess PROFICIENT written and verbal communication skills, in both English and Spanish, to assist our Spanish-speaking students and their families.

Required Certification(s)
- must be a properly certified under the provisions of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and the Ohio Revised Code (ORC) 3319.074 by evidencing one of the following requirements:
- Associate of Arts Degree or higher (official transcripts required); OR
- two years of college totaling 48 or more semester hours (official transcripts required); OR
- passing score of 456 or higher on the ParaPro Assessment (copy of ParaPro Assessment results).
- AND must have or be able to obtain an Educational Aid Permit through the Ohio Department of Education
