⚖️ Lopez, Severt & Pratt Co. is hiring an Associate Attorney.
We are seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join our established law firm in Troy, Ohio. This position is a strong opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful courtroom experience, direct client interaction, and the ability to grow within a respected local firm.
Our practice includes domestic relations, criminal defense, civil litigation, estate planning, court appearances, client meetings, legal research, and drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
The ideal candidate will be professional, dependable, organized, and motivated, with strong research, writing, and communication skills.
Qualifications include:
✔ Active license to practice law in Ohio
✔ Strong legal research and writing skills
✔ Professional communication skills
✔ Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks
✔ Attention to detail
✔ Good judgment and a willingness to learn
Courtroom experience is preferred, but not required. Newer attorneys with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
Compensation and benefits include:
• Starting salary beginning at $75,000, commensurate with experience
• Matching 401(k)
• $10,000 life insurance policy
• Ample paid time off
• 30 hours per year of comp time
• Performance-based bonuses
