About Lootbloc

We partner with top Roblox games and creators to turn their intellectual property into high-quality physical merchandise, including plushies, toys, apparel, accessories, collectibles, and other fan products. We handle the full process from product development and manufacturing to storefronts, fulfillment, customer support, and long-term merchandise strategy.

Our goal is to become the go-to merch and commerce partner for the best Roblox IPs in the world.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Commerce Product & Operations Lead to help manage and scale Lootbloc’s end-to-end merchandise operations.

This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented operator who can take products from concept to customer. You’ll work across product development, supplier management, manufacturing, inventory, Shopify operations, fulfillment, customer support workflows, and partner communication.

You do not need to be a Roblox expert on day one, but you should be excited by gaming, creator-led brands, fan communities, and building physical products for passionate audiences.

This is a hands-on startup role. You should be comfortable owning projects, solving messy problems, building processes from scratch, and moving quickly without needing constant direction.

What You’ll DoProduct Development & Merch Operations
  • Manage the product development process from concept through sampling, production, launch, and fulfillment.
  • Coordinate product timelines across design, suppliers, licensors, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Help develop new merchandise categories including plushies, apparel, toys, accessories, collectibles, and limited-edition drops.
  • Track sample status, production progress, launch dates, inventory levels, and fulfillment timelines.
  • Maintain organized documentation for each product, including cost breakdowns, vendor details, production specs, timelines, and approval status.
Manufacturing & Supply Chain
  • Source, evaluate, and manage domestic and international suppliers.
  • Communicate with manufacturers to gather quotes, review samples, negotiate pricing, and manage production timelines.
  • Help improve product margins through better sourcing, cost reduction, freight planning, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify risks in production, shipping, fulfillment, and inventory planning before they become major problems.
  • Build repeatable processes for sampling, approvals, quality control, and reorder planning.
E-Commerce & Fulfillment
  • Help manage Shopify storefront operations, product setup, pre-orders, product launches, and post-launch updates.
  • Coordinate inventory, warehousing, shipping, and fulfillment workflows.
  • Monitor order issues, customer support trends, fulfillment delays, and operational bottlenecks.
  • Improve the customer experience by helping create clearer systems for communication, delivery expectations, issue resolution, and support escalation.
  • Work with leadership to develop scalable systems for future drops, partner launches, and larger retail or D2C opportunities.
Reporting & Systems
  • Build and maintain dashboards or trackers for product status, inventory, margins, launch timelines, and operational priorities.
  • Create clear reporting for leadership on active projects, blockers, costs, timelines, and key decisions needed.
  • Improve internal systems, SOPs, documentation, and workflows as the company scales.
  • Use tools, automation, and AI where helpful to streamline research, vendor comparison, task tracking, and operational decision-making.
Partner & Team Communication
  • Support communication with licensing partners, Roblox creators, suppliers, contractors, and internal team members.
  • Help ensure partners receive timely updates and a high-quality experience working with Lootbloc.
  • Attend key meetings and provide clear follow-ups, action items, and timelines.
  • Represent Lootbloc professionally in partner conversations, supplier communication, and occasional in-person events or conferences.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce, operations, product management, supply chain, merchandise, consumer products, or a related field.
  • Experience managing physical product development from idea to production.
  • Strong understanding of Shopify, e-commerce operations, inventory management, and fulfillment workflows.
  • Experience working with manufacturers, suppliers, freight partners, or production vendors.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple product launches at once.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Ability to operate independently, identify problems, and propose solutions.
  • Strong spreadsheet, dashboard, and documentation skills.
  • Interest in gaming, Roblox, creator brands, collectibles, toys, apparel, or fan merchandise.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with licensed merchandise, gaming merchandise, toys, plushies, apparel, or collectibles.
  • Experience working with overseas factories, especially in China.
  • Familiarity with Roblox, UGC, gaming communities, or creator-led brands.
  • Experience with pre-order campaigns, limited drops, or influencer/creator merchandise.
  • Basic understanding of paid marketing, conversion tracking, or customer acquisition.
  • Experience building SOPs, dashboards, automations, or internal operating systems.
  • Utah-based or willing to meet in person occasionally in Utah.
