What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Associate (Tea Production) position at Loose Leaf Tea Market?
Loose Leaf Tea Market | Tempe, AZ
$16/hour to start, with merit-based raises. Full-time, Monday to Friday, about 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Warehouse or packaging experience preferred. Health insurance and 401(k) match.
Love warehouse work but wish it smelled better? Spend your workday surrounded by calming, good-smelling herbs. We're a women-owned tea company on a mission to help people feel better through what we make, and we're growing fast.
You'll package our teas into pouches (filling, labeling, sealing) side by side with our tea makers, then hand them off to our fulfillment team. It's hands-on, active work, and you'll be on your feet a lot. If you've worked in a warehouse, production, or packaging setting before, you'll feel right at home.
You'll love it here if you:
- Have warehouse, production, or packaging experience (great if you do, we'll train the rest)
- Show up on time and can be counted on
- Enjoy working with a team
- Speak up early and ask questions
- Like to learn and want to grow
- Care about doing things right
We hire for character and train the skills.
Benefits:
- Time and a half pay on your birthday
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with matching
- 25% off all tea and teaware
- Free tea during your shift
- 40 hours of paid sick time each year
- Three paid holidays
- Real room to grow into senior and leadership roles
Why people like working here:
- It smells amazing
- We take our values seriously: communication, respect, growth, positive energy, and hard work
- We actually have fun (we took the whole team horseback riding in January)
