Position Overview
We are seeking an Executive Producer to lead the development of our podcast and storytelling platform, LoopStories From the Inside Out. This role will be responsible for building the structure, tone, and overall direction of the program.
This is a leadership role for someone who understands how to shape powerful narratives, guide meaningful conversations, and translate a mission into compelling content. You will define how stories are told, how episodes are structured, and how the podcast connects to the broader impact of LoopRoots Foundation.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and build the overall podcast format, structure, and storytelling framework
- Define the tone, voice, and narrative style of the show
- Develop episode outlines and story arcs for each guest
- Guide the host on interview approach and question development
- Ensure content balances authenticity, responsibility, and impact
- Collaborate with the media and creative team on production direction
- Help identify and shape the types of stories that align with the organization’s mission
- Establish a repeatable system for storytelling and episode production
- Experience in podcast production, journalism, documentary storytelling, or media development
- Strong understanding of narrative structure and story development
- Ability to work with sensitive subject matter in a thoughtful and responsible way
- Strategic thinker with the ability to build programs from the ground up
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience launching or producing a podcast or media series
- Background in social impact, justice reform, or human-centered storytelling
- Experience working with nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
