We are currently expanding our fundraising and donor engagement systems and are seeking a detail-oriented volunteer to assist with building and optimizing our Donorbox fundraising platform.
Volunteer Role Overview
The Donorbox & Fundraising Systems Volunteer will help establish and organize the foundation’s donor infrastructure to support fundraising campaigns, recurring donations, sponsorship opportunities, emergency support funds, and community giving initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in nonprofit fundraising platforms, donor management systems, website integrations, or digital fundraising operations.
Responsibilities
The LoopRoots Resource Center and broader LoopRoots Foundation initiatives aim to restore dignity, reduce barriers, strengthen families, and create long-term pathways toward stability and success for underserved and justice-impacted communities.

Responsibilities
- Assist with setup and optimization of Donorbox
- Create and organize donation campaigns and recurring giving options
- Help integrate donation forms into the LoopRoots website
- Assist with donor acknowledgment workflows and automation
- Help organize fundraising categories and campaign structure
- Support setup of peer-to-peer and sponsor-based giving campaigns
- Assist with donation tracking and reporting structure
- Coordinate with leadership regarding donor engagement strategy
- Help improve donor experience and online giving flow
- Experience with Donorbox, fundraising platforms, or nonprofit CRM systems
- Familiarity with Squarespace, website embeds, or integrations
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Passion for nonprofit and community-based work
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with donor engagement or fundraising operations is a plus
- Hands-on nonprofit operations experience
