The Opportunity
We're seeking a highly motivated UX Research Project Manager & Office Administrator to join our new and growing US team. In this dynamic role, you will be the central point of contact for project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring our research initiatives run smoothly from start to finish. Additionally, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our Chicago office. You'll be part of a small, collaborative team and will enjoy a flexible, friendly, and international work environment alongside colleagues committed to delivering top-notch user research.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from proposal creation and scoping to execution and delivery, ensuring projects are on time and within budget.
- Proactively coordinate project resources, including researchers, tools, and participant recruitment, to stay on track and within Loop UX's security policies.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and the research team, building strong client relationships, managing expectations, and bridging cultural gaps.
- Support the research team with project logistics, including scheduling, coordination, and ensuring all necessary materials and data are organized and accessible.
Office Administration:
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks for our new Chicago office, including managing supplies and ensuring a smooth and productive work environment.
- Assist with the onboarding of new team members, helping to create a welcoming and organized experience.
- Help establish and maintain efficient office processes as the team grows.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in project management in UX Research or a related field.
- A solid understanding of the UX research process and methodologies (e.g., usability testing, interviews, focus groups).
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with or a willingness to take on office administration responsibilities in a small team environment.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours to accommodate international time zones.
- Self-driven, proactive, and service-minded personality with an innovative spirit.
- Additional language skills are a plus.
