About LOOP

LOOP is a Massachusetts-based on-demand shuttle service built exclusively for riders ages 8–17. We give parents a safe, reliable alternative to driving their kids — backed by real-time GPS tracking, in-vehicle cameras, digital check-in/check-out, and vetted, certified drivers. Based in Hingham, MA, LOOP is growing and we're looking for professional drivers who take youth safety as seriously as we do.

The Role

As a LOOP Driver, you'll transport young riders to and from activities, sports, and social events throughout the South Shore. You'll operate a LOOP-provided, fully branded vehicle and be supported by our app-based dispatch system every step of the way.

This role is flexible — we're hiring both part-time and full-time drivers and will work with your schedule.

What You'll Do

• Safely transport riders ages 8–17 in a LOOP-provided vehicle
• Follow assigned routes and complete digital check-in/check-out for every rider
• Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor with young passengers
• Comply with all Massachusetts 7D transport regulations and LOOP safety standards

Pay & Schedule

• Starting at $28/hour
• Part-time and full-time schedules available
• Morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts
• Consistent, predictable routes — not random gig-style dispatching

Requirements

You must be eligible to obtain a Massachusetts 7D School Pupil Transport Certificate. You do not need to already hold one — LOOP provides paid training and supports you through the process.

7D eligibility requires:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license (Class A, B, C, or D) held continuously for at least 3 years
• Clean driving record — no DUI/DWI, no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years, no reckless driving convictions
• Ability to pass a CORI and SORI background check
• Ability to pass a physical exam and written 7D knowledge test

Additional requirements:

• Comfortable working with children and teenagers
• Professional communication skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Smartphone capable of running the LOOP driver app
