Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled laborer to join our team at Loon Mountain. This individual will be responsible for performing various tasks related to grounds maintenance, including operating equipment and assisting with repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a flexible schedule based on weather conditions and operational needs.
• Assist with repairing potholes, maintaining parking lots, roadways, and access points.
• Perform all contractual responsibilities associated with snow removal contracts.
• Remove snow from parking lots, roadways, and access points in a safe and efficient manner, applying sand and salt as necessary.
• Operate backhoe, dump truck, pick-up truck with plow/sander, and loader.
• Contribute to team effort by participating in job sharing, maintaining resort cleanliness, ensuring guest and employee safety, participating in safety meetings, and accepting diverse assignments.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, including checking fluid levels, general housekeeping, and routine greasing.
• Meet service level objectives and department goals set forth by immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate must possess strong multitasking skills, be able to meet deadlines, and have a valid driver's license.

The following qualifications are required:

Three to five years of experience in a related field or industry.

All required certifications pertinent to departmental equipment needs.
