What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vehicle Maintenance Shop Supervisor position at Lookout Pass Ski & Recreational Area?
Full-Time, Year Around
This is a skilled position. This person is responsible for overseeing the vehicle shop operations and supervising technicians. This position is not only management but also working with the technicans in a hands on manner to assist repairs on a variety of equipment used in daily operations. The ideal candidate would have journeyman level mechanic experience. This position works under the Director of Maintenance and Development.
Qualifications:
· Management experience
· Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 60 pounds on an occasional basis, and a minimum of 20 pounds on a frequent basis
· Journeyman level mechanical and hydraulic experience
· Creativity and willingness to work in a challenging environment
· A desire to work in the Ski industry with unique equipment
· Ability to work outside and work a flexible schedule
· MUST have a valid Driver’s License and be able to safely operate heavy equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
