What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Sports Desk Coordinator position at Lookout Pass Ski & Recreational Area?
The Snow Sports Sales Desk Coordinator will answer phones, email and communicate in-person with guests to asst them in booking lessons.
Ideal candidate has strong communication skills, is organized, skilled at managing schedules and quick to problem solve. This staff works directly with Snow Sports Managers and instructors to make sure guests needs are communicated and met. This person’s day will consist of checking-in guest for lessons, handling payment for lessons, answering phones, taking reservations, and answering email. Typical hours are 7:30am to 4pm, this is a primarily indoor position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
- Assist guests by booking lessons via in-person, phone and email
- Manage payment for all lesson bookings
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all rental and snow sports products and instructors.
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong customer service skills - required
- Friendly, personable and comfortable working with people - required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule; including some nights and weekends - required
- Experience with rental POS systems - preferred
- Passion for the snow sports industry – preferred
- Disciplined, responsible and accountable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
