Duties
- Assist with rigging tasks, including setting up sails, securing lines, and maintaining deck equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Support the captain with navigation and operational duties, including handling lines and performing safety checks
- Conduct routine mechanical inspections and perform basic repairs to keep equipment in top condition
- Serve meals or snacks as needed, demonstrating hospitality to enhance guest satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring a memorable experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deck area, ensuring a safe environment for all onboard activities
- Assist with emergency procedures, safety drills, and compliance with maritime regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in boating or maritime environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of rigging techniques and mechanical systems is highly desirable
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods
