Role Description The Salesperson role is a contract, on-site position based in north Myrtle Beach, SC. This role is responsible for engaging customers in the showroom and on location, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate blinds and shutters solutions. Daily activities include greeting customers, explaining product features and pricing, preparing quotes, and following up on leads to close sales. The Salesperson will coordinate with installation and scheduling staff to ensure smooth service delivery, maintain product displays, and contribute to a positive customer experience. The role also involves basic record keeping, using sales tools or software, and meeting agreed-upon sales targets.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and customer service abilities, including active listening, product explanation, and closing skills.
- Basic knowledge of retail operations, such as handling inquiries, preparing quotes, and managing simple documentation.
- Comfort working on-site with customers, including visiting client locations in the Myrtle Beach area as needed.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse set of customers and team members.
- Reliable transportation, punctuality, and the ability to stand, walk, and move products or samples during the workday.
- Prior experience in retail sales, home improvement, or window coverings is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in sales or customer service are a plus.
