Job Description
We are looking for Ophthalmic Technicians with strong interpersonal skills that is able to communicate with patients, physicians and co-workers. Able to multitask, have good work ethics, time management and computer skills.

Duties and Responsibilities may include the following:
- Manage patient charts and maintain accurate medical records.
- Maintain cleanliness of the office including cleaning of equipment, rooms, etc.
- Handle incoming and outgoing tech calls; answer or direct as needed.
- Work up patients/perform refractions/special testing if needed
- Scribe for the physician when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the physician or manager as needed.
Skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical charting systems (e.g., EMR) is preferred but not required.
- Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy are essential for this position.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training.
- Excellent verbal communication skills are essential for this position.
Pay is based on experience.
