Compensation: $16 per hour plus additional hourly tip share

Early mornings and weekends required. Shifts can begin at 4:00 am.

Description

• Look’s Bakehouse is seeking candidates who have a strong attention to detail, are able to multitask effectively, are reliable and have a focus on cleanliness and organization. Must be able to manage a large production and anticipate general business and wholesale needs.

Essential Duties/Job Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 plus pounds multiple times per day.
• Accurately scale and efficiently replicate recipes to achieve a high level of consistency in production.
• Be on your feet for 8 to 10 hours and find room in a small space with high volume.
• Listen and learn about tasks of differing levels of expertise.
• Exceed industry standards of cleanliness and sanitation
• Practice safety and care when using all Look’s equipment.
• Bread experience preferred but not required. Passion and focus go a long way!
• Some of your daily tasks include: assisting customers, scaling and mixing a variety of doughs, working with both yeast and sourdough based products, baking all bread and morning pastry products, cleaning and organizing, putting away orders and washing dishes.
• To meet and accept the expectations of the position in full.
• Understand that the foodservice industry is complicated and be ready to pivot to help others whenever possible.
