What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Intern position at Loo?
Loo is a small, early-stage startup helping people find clean, accessible restrooms wherever they are — whether that’s for managing IBS, finding a changing station, or locating ADA- or gender-inclusive options.
We’re looking for a creative, curious intern who wants real-world experience in social media and brand building.
(3-10 hrs a week, we are super flexible)
This is a learning-focused internship, ideal for students or early-career folks looking to grow their portfolio. You’ll explore social media strategy, content creation, and outreach ideas in a flexible, supportive, remote environment.
This internship is unpaid and part-time, and we’re super flexible — if you have another internship or job, that’s totally fine! Just keep us in the loop. We're a small, relaxed team and we want this to be a fun, useful experience for you.
What You’ll Explore (optional):- Design a mock 4-week content calendar
- Research creators/influencers and draft outreach ideas
- Build a social strategy deck or case study
- Create social post examples (Reels, TikToks, etc.)
- Propose a mini content launch plan
All projects are optional and driven by your interests. We’re here to give feedback, ideas, and mentorship — not to micromanage you.
