In this role, you will support quality control activities at our Greenwood site, helping ensure the quality and reliability of materials and products used across our hard capsule, DFS, and Ingredients businesses. You will work hands‑on in the laboratory, partnering with colleagues to deliver accurate results that support safe, compliant manufacturing.

What you will do

• Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products.
• Calibrate and verify laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accurate results.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant laboratory documentation and records.
• Support out‑of‑specification investigations and assist with continuous improvement activities.
• Manage chemical and reference standard inventories to support daily laboratory operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with other chemists and provide backup support as needed.
  
  

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably within a regulated industry.
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting quality and compliance expectations.
• Willingness to work a standard 40‑hour week, with flexibility to support business needs.
• Ability to work on‑site in Greenwood, SC, as physical presence is required for this role.
