What are the responsibilities and job description for the ALE Bus Aide position at Lonoke High School?
This position is 2 hours per day. One hour in the morning, one hour in the afternoon.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITEIS: Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist students during transport to and from Carlisle ALE Program
- Ensure students enter and leave bus orderly
- Maintain seating chart
- Assists with handling emergency situations until the bus driver can take over
- Provide safe loading and unloading from buses during normal transport and emergency situations
- Monitor students until released to teacher, instructional assistant, parent, etc.
- Prepare seating chart of assigned riders, student misconduct, and incident reports to provide information needed to comply with guidelines
- Report observations, incidents, and social behavior to appropriate personnel for their action
- Attend meetings, in-service training, and/or workshops as directed
- Provide other related duties as assigned to ensure an efficient and effective work place
- Maintain confidentiality, unquestionable integrity
- Daily attendance and punctuality are required for the purpose of ensuring the goals of the work unit can be met
- Display professionalism in appearance, attitude, and actions
