The Longview School District is hiring an Occasional Activity Worker
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Variable/On-Call Schedule
Pay: $16.66 - $21.71 per hour
Qualifications

Immigration Reform and Control Act Requirement: New employees will be required to complete an INS 1-9 form and must provide proof of employment eligibility.
Disclosure Statement and Background Check: Pursuant to RCW 43.43.830 through RCW 43.43.840, new employees will be required to complete a disclosure form indicating any convictions of crimes against persons as listed in the law. In addition, a background check based on fingerprints will be requested from the Washington State Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Job Sharing: Pursuant to RCW 28A.405.070, the district will accept applications from individuals wishing to share a position.

Qualifications
- Must work cooperatively with others.
- Must maintain respectful, positive interactions.
- Must have good communication and public relations skills.
- Must have a proven record of punctuality, dependability, and consistent attendance.
- Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Work with people in a cordial, professional manner.
- Proctor elementary assessments (Dibels and Math Cadre).
- Activity Worker at an athletic event may include, but is not limited to, the below functions:
- Sell and/or collect tickets
- Manage uniform room
- Manage sporting equipment
- Score clock
- Shot clock
- Ball Holder (Soccer)
- Track starter
- Time events (Track)
- Field Events (Track)
- Football chains
- Volleyball lines
- Basketball video
- Announcer
- Supervision (Games/Weight Room)
- Scorebook
- Libero Tracker
