After more than a century of business leadership, the Longview Chamber of Commerce is preparing for its next chapter.
With a planned CEO transition ahead, our Board of Directors has launched the search for our next President & Chief Executive Officer.
This is not a maintenance role.
We are seeking an accomplished chamber executive who understands how chambers must evolve beyond traditional membership services to become catalytic leaders in business advocacy, workforce development, regional collaboration, and long-term economic competitiveness.
The successful candidate will bring operational excellence, strategic foresight, executive presence, and the ability to lead through change while building trust across business, government, education, and community stakeholders.
The next CEO will lead a respected, future-focused organization representing approximately 1,000 member businesses and impacting more than 50,000 employees across East Texas.
Qualified candidates should bring:
• 10 years of chamber leadership experience
• Senior executive leadership experience
• U.S. Chamber Foundation IOM required
• Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives CCE preferred
• Western Association of Chamber Executives ACE preferred
• Experience within an accredited chamber recognized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce preferred
• Experience in governance, advocacy, strategic growth, and organizational transformation
