Automotive Mechanic - Longview
Essential Functions
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles.
- Conduct automotive electrical system repairs and troubleshooting.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance work.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow in the repair shop.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive service.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and best practices.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Certification in Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is a plus.
- Dependability, reliability, fulfilling responsibilities, working independently and as a team.
- Cooperation, maintaining friendly and responsible relationships with co-workers.
- Strong work ethics of integrity and honesty striving for excellence in all activities.
