Longstreet Clinic is currently seeking a personable Bariatric Navigator for our Center for Weight Management in Gainesville, GA. As a Bariatric Navigator you will be guiding all new surgical consults through the comprehensive process to obtain approval for bariatric surgery. Apply now if you meet the following qualifications!
Primary Responsibilities for this Bariatric Navigator position include:
- Meet with new surgery consults: Discuss insurance coverage, program requirements, and any specific needs related to the insurance process.

- Provide patient education: Ensure patients have a clear understanding of the requirements and are available to answer any questions they may have throughout the process.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate surgeries
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and medical facilities.
- Document medical necessities.
Experience/Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- At leave two years of experience with insurance benefits/pre-certifications/surgery scheduling is preferred.
- Customer Service experience preferred.
