Job Purpose
The Financial Analyst will join the Finance team and play a key role in supporting strategic and investment decisions across all aspects of the business. This position offers broad exposure to financial modelling, capital markets, project development and M&A within a growing renewable energy company. As an integral member of the Finance team, the Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain financial models in connection with new capital investments, M&A, project development, and related third party corporate and project financings
- Analyze strategic and financial opportunities and present recommendations to senior management and shareholders
- Interface with current capital partners, commercial and investment banks, and prospective new investors to drive key business decisions, market and structure deals, facilitate due diligence, and assist in closing documentation and asset management
- Engage Longroad’s development team, engineering, legal, tax and accounting to identify project challenges and risks and formulate strategies and solutions
- Perform analysis and research for the support of negotiations and transaction execution for project financings, sales and acquisitions
- Research tax equity financing opportunities to monetize the projects’ tax attributes
- Maintain tax equity partnership tracking models
Minimum Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience with financial modeling or DCF analysis in Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in finance, accounting, economics or engineering preferred
- Strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills

- Strong interest in the energy industry, particularly renewables
- Motivation to learn, grow and take on increasing responsibility within a dynamic organization
- Prior experience at an energy development company, bank or investor

Salary/Compensation
The salary range is between $85k-95k. In addition to base salary, this role includes a corporate bonus. The position offers health, vision/dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, accrued paid time off, life insurance and disability coverage.
