What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pump Mechanic position at Longo Electrical Mechanical Inc?
We seek an experienced Industrial Pump Mechanic to disassemble, inspect, measure, and reassemble various types of pumps including Split Case, End Suction, Submersible, Vertical Turbines.
We Seek a Candidate With the Following Background:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience addressing medium to large industrial pumps. Experience with Flygt, KSB, Peerless, Ingersol Rand, Flowserve, Worthington highly desirable.
- minimum of 3 years’ experience disassembling Industrial Gearboxes and/or Transmissions to identify/diagnose condition and/or problems. This includes experience in setting spacing on a gearbox to assure
- Full ability to read/interpret pump cut sheets and exploded diagrams while identifying parts for diagnostic work.
- Ownership of a complete set of tools for the job.
This is a first shift position (6:30am – 3pm (Monday-Friday) with ample opportunity for overtime (after 8-hour shift).
