About Us

Oral Surgery Practice | No Weekends | Full Benefits | Growth Opportunity

Are you someone who loves helping people, staying organized, and being the friendly face that makes a medical office feel welcoming and calm?

Our oral surgery practice is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our patients and referring offices. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in being dependable, and wants to grow in a professional healthcare environment.

You do not need oral surgery experience to succeed here. We are happy to train the right person who brings a strong service mindset and a desire to learn.

The Role: Why You Matter

As our Patient Care Coordinator, you are much more than a receptionist—you are the primary architect of the patient experience. You are the crucial first point of contact whether a patient walks through our doors with nerves or calls us over the phone. Your main mission is to leverage your outgoing personality to instantly ease anxieties, project warmth, and set a reassuring, premium tone for their entire surgical journey. Behind the scenes, you ensure the practice runs flawlessly by setting our surgical team up for success before patients even arrive.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Own the First Impression: Enthusiastically greet patients and visitors upon arrival with a genuine smile and vibrant energy.
  • Master Chart Preparation: Proactively assemble and review digital charts for upcoming appointments—ensuring referral letters, clinical notes, required x-rays/CBCT scans, and signed consent forms are accurate, organized, and ready for the surgical team.
  • Be the Voice of the Practice: Answer phone calls with contagious positivity, efficiently triaging patient inquiries, scheduling consultations, and managing incoming referrals.
  • Guide the Patient Journey: Seamlessly manage check-in and check-out processes, keeping patients informed and comfortable while managing expectations regarding wait times.
  • Maintain Smooth Clinic Flow: Gather new patient intake forms, scan IDs and insurance details, and partner closely with the surgical team to keep the daily schedule running on time.

Who You Are (Requirements & Qualifications)

  • Naturally Outgoing & Charismatic: You genuinely love interacting with people. You possess an infectious positive energy and can naturally strike up a warm conversation with anyone.
  • Meticulously Organized: You have a keen eye for detail, understanding that thorough and accurate chart prep is vital for seamless patient safety and care.
  • Deeply Empathetic: You understand that oral surgery brings anxiety. You are patient, an excellent listener, and excel at calming nerves.
  • A Master Communicator: You possess superior verbal and written communication skills—your phone etiquette is elite, and you radiate professionalism.
  • Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. 1–2 years of experience in a dental or medical front office setting with exposure to digital chart management is strongly preferred, but we will train the absolute right personality!

What We Offer You

  • Competitive compensation based on your unique experience and energy.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.
  • A supportive, team-first workplace culture where your personality is truly celebrated.
  • Opportunities for career growth within a top-tier specialty practice.

How to Apply

If you are ready to be the spark that brightens our patients' days, we want to meet you! Please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter telling us why you love being the first point of contact for people.
