PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Provide first aid to children, care for students who have suffered an injury or medical emergency 2.Dispense prescribed medications in accordance with school policy and physician orders 3.Perform medical procedures as indicated by students’ physicians 4.Screen students in the areas of vision, hearing and scoliosis 5.Maintain health records 6.Maintain confidentiality in school, home, and community settings as mandated by Massachusetts Regulations 7.Performs other duties reasonably related to his/her function, as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:NONE The following information is provided pursuant to ADA requirements. Strength:Light-lifting, 30 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Environmental conditions are a means of describing the physical surroundings of a worker in a specific job. These positions are performed in a school and/or field trip setting where the environmental conditions should have no effect on how the jobs are performed. Noise: Level 3 – Moderate level of intensity. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year in accordance with current Longmeadow Educators Association (Unit C) and Longmeadow School Committee Agreement
