Duties
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections with precision and speed
- Conduct vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical issues accurately using automotive diagnostic tools
- Execute repairs including alignments, tire services, and minor mechanical fixes to ensure optimal vehicle operation
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete service tasks efficiently
- Assist customers by explaining repair needs and recommended services in a clear, friendly manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service bay to uphold safety standards and operational flow
- Support ongoing maintenance tasks and assist senior technicians with complex repairs when needed
Requirements
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, alignments, and tire services
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment confidently
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform manual tasks throughout the workday
- Mechanical knowledge combined with a proactive approach to learning new techniques and technologies
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ASE certification or equivalent is a plus
