Skills and Abilities
Parts Handler
· Reviews nesting tasks with the team leader.
· Removes finished parts from laser-processed sheet and plate materials, then sorts, stacks, and palletizes, and tags these parts for transfer to the next stage of production.
· Inspects parts for quality and quantity, reporting findings promptly to the team leader.
· Uses manual hand tools and electric, battery and air powered grinders to remove laser slag, sharp edges and laser tabs a required.
· Performs minor part repairs and needed.
· Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, supporting overall plant efficiency and safety.
· Assists in training and mentoring new Sheet Laser Parts Handler associates, helping them become familiar with job duties and best practices.
· Maintains a clean and organized work area during shift and performs end of shift clean-up activities to put away tools, equipment, materials, and supplies, cleaning machines, sweeping floor, and throwing out trash.
· Performs any other duties or activities required by supervisors and managers
· Follows all company policies and safety guidelines.
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
