Compensation: Base salary up to $120,000 annually, based on experience. Bonus program eligibility.

Now, we’re looking for a QA Manager to join our Longhini Sausage team in New Haven, CT, and lead our commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
As the QA Manager, you’ll be the cornerstone of our plant’s food safety and quality systems. You will:
Lead and Manage the QA and sanitation team using the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) model.
Own and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS)—ensuring alignment with HACCP, GMP, USDA/FDA, and customer standards.
Prepare for and manage regulatory, customer, and third-party audits.
Investigate customer complaints, lead CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes, and communicate resolutions effectively.
Track and report on key quality metrics, spotting trends and leading data-driven improvements.
What You Bring:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or similar (preferred)
5 years in food manufacturing QA; 2 years in a leadership role
Experience in USDA-regulated environments required
Technical Skills
Deep knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, USDA/FDA standards
Audit prep & execution expertise
Fluent in Microsoft Office & QA traceability systems
Soft Skills
Inspiring leader & strong communicator
Collaborative mindset with operations, sanitation, and regulatory teams
Organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented
Details:
On-site at our Longhini Sausage facility in New Haven, CT
Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Flexibility for audits & emergencies)
Regular movement through production areas, lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally
Work in cold/refrigerated environments at times
