Supervisor, Food and Nutrition (Contract)
Location- Larimore, ND 58251
Shift- | Variable Shifts (Days/8s or 12s)
40 Hours per Week
Pay rate- $73.00/hour
Schedule & Assignment Details
- Shift: Variable (mostly days; may include 8- or 12-hour shifts)
- Hours: 40 hours/week (guaranteed)
- Start Date: ASAP (Target: November 24, 2025)
- Length of Assignment: 12 weeks, with possible extension based on need
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and evaluate performance of Food and Nutrition staff.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local health and safety regulations.
- Plan, order, and maintain adequate food and supply inventories to meet menu requirements.
- Implement standardized recipes and quality control procedures.
- Oversee meal preparation, presentation, and sanitation standards.
- Conduct staff training, meetings, and performance reviews.
- Schedule team members and ensure adequate daily coverage.
- Collaborate with other departments to support resident satisfaction and quality improvement goals.
- Demonstrate effective communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in food service or food production required.
- Certifications:
- CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) through ANFP or Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred.
- If not certified, must be willing to obtain CDM within two years of hire (per facility policy).
- Food Handler’s Certification required (or must be obtained upon hire).
- Serve Safe Certification may be required within 1 year (depending on department).
- Other Requirements:
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Must comply with all facility vaccination requirements (including flu; no exemptions).
