Dietitian

Job Title: Clinical Dietitian (Allied)
Location: Watertown, NY 13601
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
Shift: Days with rotating weekend coverage
Salary Range: $28.00 – $37.10 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and screenings.
• Identify patients/residents at risk for malnutrition and develop targeted interventions.
• Perform Nutrition Focused Physical Exams (NFPE) to determine degree of malnutrition.
• Develop and implement individualized diet and nutrition plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Document care accurately using systems such as Point Click Care and Meditech.

Qualifications

• Required:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registration Eligible.
• Preferred:
• Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist in New York State.
• One year of acute care or long-term care experience.
• Skills:
• Proficiency with Point Click Care, Meditech, MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $28.00 – $37.10 per hour (based on experience).
• Incentives: $2,500 sign-on bonus and up to $2,500 relocation assistance (with 2-year commitment).
