About the Role
We are seeking a Transportation Specialist who is reliable, safety-focused, and genuinely enjoys working with older adults.
This role combines:
- Safe and dependable driving
- Member interaction and support
- Light operational support at the club
You’ll be a key part of ensuring members arrive safely and feel welcomed and respected every step of the way.
What You’ll Do
Safe Transportation
- Provide door-to-door transportation for members
- Assist members entering and exiting vehicles
- Secure seatbelts and mobility devices properly
- Follow routes and schedules efficiently
Member Experience
- Greet members warmly at pickup and drop-off
- Maintain a calm, respectful, and friendly presence
- Support member comfort and safety during transport
Vehicle Safety & Maintenance
- Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections
- Maintain clean, safe, and presentable vehicles
- Report maintenance issues promptly
- Keep required logs up to date
Operational Support When not driving:
- Assist with room setup and breakdown
- Help maintain a clean and organized environment
- Support daily operational needs
Emergency Response
- Follow safety and emergency procedures
- Assist during evacuations or incidents if needed
- Complete required documentation
What You Bring
- Clean driving record
- Experience driving passengers (preferred but not required)
- Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness
- Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor
- Ability to read, write, and speak English. Bi-lingual encouraged to apply
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass Level 2 background check and driving record review
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to assist with mobility devices
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
