We are looking for a Junior Systems Consultant to join our BC Branch team out of our Vancouver office. You will support and improve client environments through project work and deskside support, partnering closely with clients to understand their needs, communicate clearly, and deliver a great experience. You are technically curious, eager to learn, and comfortable asking questions while taking initiative to move work forward.

Work alongside senior consultants on real client projects—deployments, upgrades, migrations, and hands-on support

Provide deskside and onsite support, helping users while delivering a great customer experience

Learn and support core networking basics: LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, switching, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls

Support Windows Server fundamentals, including Active Directory/Azure AD users & groups, file/print services, and basic troubleshooting

Communicate clearly with clients—in person, by phone, and in writing—setting expectations and providing updates
-
Create clear documentation so work is easy to understand, repeat, and hand off
-
Grow your skills through mentorship, training, and hands-on learning—ask questions, research solutions, and take initiative
-
Juggle tickets, deskside visits, and project tasks by staying organized and knowing when to escalate
-
Track your work in a ticketing system, writing clear notes and ensuring issues are fully resolved
-
2 years of IT experience (support, MSP, consulting, co‑op, or internship experience all count)

A solid IT generalist foundation (endpoints, Microsoft 365) with a strong interest in networking

Exposure to server basics is a plus: Windows Server, Active Directory/Azure AD, Group Policy, and file permissions

Working knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, subnetting, VLANs, switching, Wi‑Fi, and VPN basics

Comfortable troubleshooting issues methodically and learning why things work

Coachable and curious—you take feedback well, ask good questions, and apply what you learn

Confident working directly with clients onsite, with a professional, service‑focused approach

Clear written communication for tickets, documentation, and updates

Comfortable using a ticketing system and following support workflows

Able to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and raise risks early

A self‑starter who takes initiative, but knows when to ask for help

Curious about AI tools and concepts, with interest in learning more as they apply to IT

Post-secondary education in IT or equivalent hands-on experience is an asset

Certifications are an asset (examples: CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft Fundamentals/Associate, or vendor networking fundamentals)

Passion for IT and tinkering with technology (home lab, side projects, troubleshooting for friends/family, etc.)
